The ScanFx algorithm employs advanced techniques to accurately and reliably identify patterns as they form. We focus on price action, using indicators such as moving averages as supplemental tools rather than signals in themselves.

Alerts are delivered fully annotated with key information highlighted for rapid appraisal. No need to draw Fib. Retracements/Extensions, Trendlines, Support/Resistance, Pivots, etc. as they are automatically drawn on the chart.

Multi-timeframe
Analysis

Multi-timeframe analysis gives market context to individual patterns. Know if a pullback is part of a larger timeframe Impulse or Corrective Wave, and position yourself accordingly. The ScanFx algorithm runs on timeframes from M5 all the way up to Monthly to bring you a comprehensive map of the market.

Alerts Dashboard

Managing watchlists becomes a thing of the past with our Alerts Dashboard. An array of Quick Glance charts is presented to you with the following key information displayed:

• Symbol
• Timeframe set
• Pattern type
• Quick Glance charts

Clicking the timeframe selector scrolls the image to the corresponding chart. This enables quick assessment of each individual pattern and gives an overview of the alert. More detail is available by clicking on the image, which opens the alert in a new browser tab.

The Dashboard is continually updated, with the Live tab displaying only those symbols on which action can be taken. As soon as an alert becomes invalid, it is moved to the Historical tab for reference.

Detailed Alert Review

After selecting an alert from the Dashboard for further investigation, a new tab will open displaying a more detailed view of the charts. We chose this option for its workflow benefits, allowing you to effectively create a watchlist of browser tabs. This approach enables you to continue viewing the Dashboard without the need for back and forth navigation.

In addition to the annotated charts, the Alert Review tab contains the pattern reports, which give a comprehensive breakdown of the technical factors present in each pattern. For instance, a Head & Shoulders pattern may or may not present with MACD Divergence, Trendline Resistance, EMA Resistance, etc. The ScanFx algorithm conducts this analysis for you and presents the findings in the report, saving you valuable time.
